These photographs are a selection from my time in art school and represent the early development of my style. They reflect my pull toward the high desert, the quiet resilience of people living on the fringes, the liminal night sky, and my joy in light painting. In these images, my visual language began to take shape—rooted in stillness, transition, and a search for meaning in the overlooked and in-between moments. This collection marks where my practice started, and where I first learned that art is not only created, but discovered through the act of seeing.
