In Search of Light was my final project in art school—born from long nights in the desert, river canyons, rail yards, and forgotten corridors where humanity and wilderness meet the edge of the unknown. These images are experiments in time and perception, using long exposure and light painting to reveal a world that exists just outside ordinary sight. Circles, portals, and burning forms ask a simple question: what lives in the space between who we were and who we’re becoming? The desert taught me patience. The night sky taught me scale. Fire and movement taught me that transformation is rarely gentle. This series explores transition—between darkness and dawn, chaos and clarity, earth and cosmos. It is a study of hope through motion and stillness, of persistence in lonely places, and of light as both guide and witness.
Each frame is a portal.
Each exposure is a step toward home.
